The distressed male climbed onto the bridge gantry, prompting an urgent police response. Officers are currently talking him down in hopes of a quick and safe resolution.
Major delays hit motorists
Travel chaos is causing around 30 minutes of delays in both directions. Motorists are advised to expect hold-ups until the situation concludes, expected between 09:00 and 09:15 on 22 March 2023.
