Hit-and-Run Horror: Biker Smashed Off Bike in Gosport
A motorcyclist was brutally knocked off his bike in a hit-and-run crash just after 7am this Tuesday (3rd May) in Gosport. The rider is now in hospital with a suspected broken arm and dislocated shoulder following the shocking fail-to-stop collision.
Crash on Huhtamaki Roundabout
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene at Huhtamaki roundabout on Rowner Road after reports of the smash. The biker, heading towards Lee-on-the-Solent, was hit by a red Kia.
The impact hurled the rider off his machine, wrecking the motorcycle. Miraculously, the female driver initially stopped and checked on the victim before making a chilling exit, driving off without exchanging details.
Serious Injuries and Hit-and-Run Escape
- The injured rider was rushed by ambulance to QA Hospital in Cosham for urgent treatment.
- The Kia sped away, leaving part of its front grill lodged in the motorbike.
- Witnesses stopped to help the biker before paramedics arrived, giving first aid at the scene.
Police Hunt Red Kia Driver
Authorities are urging the driver of the red Kia to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
