Hit-and-Run Horror on White Hart Lane: Man Left Fighting for Life

Emergency services rushed to White Hart Lane in North London after a hit-and-run left a man critically injured. The victim was hit by a speeding car that didn’t stop, sending him flying through the air like a rag doll, eyewitnesses at a nearby kebab shop said. Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Man Hit, Left Stranded as Driver Flees

The Met Police confirmed officers were called at 9.12pm on Monday, 13 January, to Great Cambridge Road at the junction with White Hart Lane, N17. They found a man believed to be in his 40s seriously injured after being struck by a car.

“The car involved did not stop at the scene; enquiries to locate it are ongoing,” a Met Police spokesman said. “The man’s injuries are being treated as life-threatening at this stage.”

Road Closures in Effect as Police Hunt Driver

Police have shut Great Cambridge Road and the junction with White Hart Lane while they investigate. Officers want anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
