Tragedy Strikes as Man’s Body Pulled from Surrey Lake
Emergency teams recovered the body of a man from a lake on Nutfield Marsh Road, Nutfield, yesterday evening (25 June). The alarm was raised around 6.30pm when the ambulance service reported a man struggling in the water.

Surrey’s water search team and Surrey Search and Rescue swiftly joined the hunt. After tense hours, Specialist Group International divers recovered the man’s body at 9.20pm. Authorities are treating the death as unexplained but say there’s no sign of foul play or third party involvement.
Concerns Over Anti-Social Swimming Behaviour
Officers are searching for the man’s next of kin. Earlier that day, multiple reports came in about youths swimming in the lake and causing anti-social behaviour. With soaring temperatures, police issued a stark warning.
