Teen Car Theft Horror: Two Boys Snatched Inside Stolen Vehicle!
Two 15-year-old lads are locked up on suspicion of kidnap after swiping a car with two young boys still strapped inside.
Terrifying Theft in Birmingham
The drama unfolded just after 5pm on 20 February when a frantic dad reported his car stolen from his driveway – with his two boys, aged two and four, trapped inside.
Police launched an all-out search. Armed units, traffic officers, dog squads, and a helicopter scrambled to track down the stolen Seat Leon.
High-Speed Chase on the Wrong Side
The stolen ride was spotted tearing the wrong way down a dual carriageway. Armed cops quickly brought the vehicle to a halt on the A38 bristol/" title="Bristol" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bristol Road near Belgrave Interchange.
Miraculously, both kids were safe and sound, quickly reunited with their relieved parents right there on the roadside.
Suspects Caught After Daring Escape Attempt
The two teen suspects bolted from the scene but were caught fast and dragged into custody. They face questioning over theft and kidnap charges.
Chief Inspector Lee Wiggan said: “This type of incident is every parent’s worst nightmare, but thankfully we were able to stop the car and reunite the family less than fifteen minutes after it was stolen. It’s a fantastic outcome to what was a very serious, urgent incident.”
