Huge Blaze Erupts at Rainham Industrial Estate
A massive fire has ripped through two industrial units on Ferry Lane, Rainham, sparking a huge emergency response. Twenty fire engines and around 125 firefighters are currently battling the raging blaze.
Major Safety Measures in Place
Fire crews sprang into action after the London Fire Brigade got a distress call at 1.11pm. Firefighters from Barking, East Ham, Wennington, Dagenham, and nearby stations rushed to the scene. A 25-metre safety cordon is now in place to protect local residents and businesses.
Multiple Fire Services Join the Fight
Support has also arrived from Kent Fire and Rescue Service and Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, showing impressive teamwork. Despite fierce efforts, the cause of the fire remains a mystery.
