Two fire crews from Newport were rushed to Bluebell Meadows estate after a bin shed went up in flames. Eight brave firefighters are tackling the blaze head-on.
Smoke and Flames Under Control
Firefighters, fully kitted with breathing apparatus, are using a high-pressure hose reel to douse the fire. They’ve also deployed positive pressure ventilation to clear thick smoke billowing from the scene.
Tools on Hand to Stop Fire Spreading
Using a thermal imaging camera, crews are carefully checking the roof and surrounding areas to ensure the fire hasn’t spread.
