Southsea fire crews, including a specialised Aerial Ladder Platform unit, tackled the hazardous scene. They quickly sealed off the area with a safety cordon and secured the broken window frames to prevent further danger.

A startled neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, described the chaos. “I was feeding my dog Brogue when I heard a loud bang and the sound of glass smashing. Shards started falling onto the pavement. It was pure luck no one was walking by.”
