Blaze Breaks Out in Portsmouth Maisonette
Firefighters rushed to tackle a fierce fire at a second-floor maisonette in Loring House, Conan Road, Portsmouth, at 5.10 pm on Monday.
Quick Response Saves Neighbourhood
A team of around 15 firefighters battled the flames as the fire rapidly spread through the three-bedroom flat. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Crews stopped the blaze from spreading to nearby homes.
Heavy Equipment in Action
One fire engine from Cosham and two from Portchester responded swiftly. Firefighters used breathing apparatus, three hose reels, and two high-pressure jets to douse the flames and regain control.
Cause of Fire Under Investigation
The origins of the blaze remain unknown as investigators continue their enquiries.
