Man Hurt in Fiery Garage Blaze in Fareham
A man is recovering tonight after suffering burns in a garage fire in Fareham. Two fire crews from Hampshire and Rescue raced to the scene this afternoon, tackling a fierce blaze at a property on Highlands Road.
Garage Destroyed but House Saved
Firefighters arrived to find the garage fully alight. Despite their best efforts, the garage couldn’t be saved. However, their quick action stopped the fire from spreading to the house.
Brave Firefighters Battle Blaze
Wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets, crews worked hard to douse the flames. Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service (SCA) and the Hazard Area Response Team (HART) were on hand to support the firefighters throughout the operation.
The man’s condition is not yet confirmed.
