Fire Truck Blocked by Naughty Mercedes in Petworth!
A Petworth fire crew rushing to an incident in Grove Lane last night (12th December) were left fuming after their truck got stuck on High Street. A careless driver had parked a Mercedes on double yellow lines at the corner of Middle Street, making it impossible for the fire engine to pass.
False Alarm Saves the Day
Thankfully, it was a false alarm this time — no emergency needed. But the blockage could have cost precious minutes if it had been serious.
