Blaze Erupts on Moored Vessel

Firefighters rushed to a floating restaurant on the River Thames by Albert Embankment after reports of smoke. The fire caused damage to part of the moored vessel.

Quick Response, No Injuries

The London Fire Brigade was called at 1:27pm and had the blaze under control by 2:30pm. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

Multiple Fire Units Battle the Blaze

  • Three fire engines from Lambeth, Brixton, and Soho stations
  • Fire rescue unit from Croydon Fire Station
  • Fire Brigade’s river fire boat from Lambeth River Fire Station

All units worked together to tackle the fire both from land and riverside.
