West Midlands Police have arrested four individuals following a fatal stabbing in Sparkbrook, Birmingham, on 4 June. Officers responded to reports of an attack at Walford Road at around 6.20pm. The victim, a man believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 7pm. The suspects, including a 29-year-old man, were detained in Bristol on suspicion of murder and assisting an offender.

Targeted Stabbing Attack

Investigators believe the assault was targeted and involved people known to the victim. Support is being provided to the man’s family by police.

Suspects In Custody

All four arrests are being transferred to West Midlands Police for questioning. Authorities have established a dedicated portal for witnesses to submit any relevant evidence directly to the investigation team.

Police are urgently seeking anyone with CCTV, mobile phone, or dashcam footage around the time of the stabbing to come forward. Witnesses can contact 101, citing log 4881 of 4 June, or submit evidence through the police public portal.
