Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters swooped on a dramatic house fire on Cromwell Street, Hounslow. The blaze ripped through the upper floor of a detached home after multiple emergency calls flooded in. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) sprang into action after receiving 10 urgent calls starting at 11:56 AM.

Crews from Hillingdon, Fulham, Heathrow, and Twickenham stations battled the flames fiercely. They brought the fire under control by 1:08 PM, preventing an even worse disaster.

Damage, Evacuations & Medical Checks

  • Damage: Most of the first floor and nearly half the roof were gutted by flames.
  • Evacuations: Six people escaped the blazing building before firefighters arrived on scene.
  • Medical: Four individuals received on-the-spot checks from emergency medical teams.

“Our crews worked quickly to contain the fire and ensure the safety of those involved,” said a London Fire Brigade spokesperson.

The cause of the fire remains unknown. Fire investigators are combing the scene for clues including possible electrical faults, accidental causes, or suspicious activity.
