Arson Attack Sparks Panic at Local Pub

A fire was deliberately started outside The Railway Tavern on Station Road at around 7.15pm on Thursday, December 23, 2021. The blaze was ignited using fuel-soaked rags, causing damage to the building.

Quick Response from Police and Firefighters

Firefighters and police rushed to the scene and quickly doused the flames. Thankfully, no one inside the pub was injured, despite the crowd present during the attack.

Police Release CCTV of Suspect

Officers have declared the fire suspicious and are now hunting the man caught on CCTV who may be connected to the arson. Witnesses have been interviewed, and police urge anyone who recognises the suspect to come forward.
