Man Critically Injured in Shocking Guildhall Attack

Police have made a breakthrough after a 45-year-old man was left seriously injured in the Guildhall area on Monday, 31 July. The victim was found unconscious near the Civic Offices on a walkway leading to Isambard Brunel Road.

Severe Injuries and Hospitalisation

The man was rushed by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital in critical condition. Doctors confirmed he suffered a brain bleed alongside fractures to his skull, facial bones, and ribs.

Teen Arrested Over Brutal Assault

Officers have arrested a 19-year-old man from Southsea on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
