It’s been 17 years since 22-year-old Rebecca Carr vanished without a trace after being dropped off near Gillingham railway station. Known also as Rebecca Simmonds, she disappeared on 25 November 2002, leaving behind a heartbroken family and a young son.

What Happened That Night?
Rebecca was last seen when her grandparents dropped her off near Gillingham railway station. Since then, no confirmed sightings have come to light. Despite extensive police investigations and family appeals, Rebecca’s whereabouts remain a mystery.
Family and Community Never Give Up Hope
Rebecca’s mum Lynne still lives in the family home in Frindsbury, near Strood. Her sister Laura has raised nearly £2,000 for the Missing People charity in Rebecca’s name, keeping the case in the public eye.
“We appeal to Rebecca’s friends and anyone with information to come forward. We need to know what happened to her,” said a family spokesperson.
Kent Police have exhausted all leads but maintain that no stone has been left unturned. Though the family fear the worst, they hold onto hope until a clear answer is found.
