ITV CEO Carolyn McCall said today: “Given the gravity of recent events, we have decided to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show. The show has had a loyal audience and a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time to bring it to a close.”

McCall also extended sympathies to the family and friends of Steve Dymond. A review of the episode connected to the tragic case is ongoing. While the Jeremy Kyle Show ends, ITV said it will continue working with Jeremy Kyle on other projects.
