Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a garage alight in Chiddingstone, Edenbridge – UKNIP

 

Four fire engines attended the property in Wellers Town Road, and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. 

No casualties were reported. 

It’s believed the fire started accidentally after a brazier had been left on and caused other items to catch alight. 

Following the incident, crews are reminding people to take extra care when lighting any sort of flame or fire, and not to leave it unattended until its fully out and completely cooled.
