Major Search Launched After High-Risk Missing Person Report in Maidstone
Kent Police have kicked off a major search after a high-risk individual went missing in Maidstone. The operation is focused on Mote Park, the sprawling 440-acre green space that was once a grand country estate.
Police and Volunteers Scour Mote Park
The search began promptly after 5:30 PM when the missing person alert was received. Dozens of officers flooded the park, showing just how serious the situation is. Around 30 volunteers from KENTSAR—Kent’s specialist Search and Rescue charity—are combing the area in teams of four, leaving no stone unturned.
Air Support and Thermal Imaging to Boost Search
To ramp up efforts, Kent Police have called in the National Police Air Service (NPAS) from Redhill. A helicopter equipped with thermal imaging technology is due to join the hunt. This will be crucial in spotting the missing individual across the huge park, especially as daylight fades.
Community on Edge as Details Remain Scarce
So far, police have kept details under wraps—no word on who’s missing or why. This silence has left locals worried and anxious for answers. We’ve contacted Kent Police for updates and will keep you posted as the story develops.
