Asda staff in Bucknall have been playing dog-sitters to a runaway pooch named Poppy — but the fluffy fugitive has bolted once again.

Fluffy Escape Artist Vanishes from Asda

Poppy, a “cutie pie” according to the supermarket team, was found wandering near the store earlier on April 16. The kind-hearted staff quickly took her under their wing, hoping to track down her owner or hand her over to animal services.

Sweet Poppy Slips Through Fingers Again

Before the reunion could happen, Poppy made a cheeky escape and vanished from the store. An Asda spokesperson said, “We’ve been calling her Poppy — she’s such a sweet little thing. We just want to get her home safe. She was with us for a while, but she’s since run off again. If anyone recognises her, please help.”

Community on Alert for Lost Pup

Locals are urged to check gardens, streets, and parks across Bucknall. If you spot Poppy or know where she belongs, please contact the store or local animal rescue groups immediately. Let’s get this adorable escape artist back home safe and sound!
