Follow the ‘Hollow Triangle’ Diversion
Drivers approaching from before the closure should follow the “Hollow Triangle” diversion signs. Here’s the route:
- Exit the M25 at Junction 8 (Reigate Hill Interchange).
- Take the third exit at the roundabout onto the A217 heading towards London.
- At Burgh Heath (A240), turn left at the lights onto the A240 towards Kingston.
- At Ewell roundabout (A24), take the third exit onto the A24 towards London.
- At Organ Crossroads, follow the A240 towards Kingston.
- At the Tolworth Interchange (A3), take the first exit onto the A3 towards Portsmouth.
- Follow the A3 to M25 Junction 10 (Wisley Interchange), then take the third exit to rejoin the M25.
Warning: Height Restriction on Diversion
Important: The Tolworth railway bridge over the A240 has a height limit of 15’ 3”. HGV drivers must take note to avoid further disruption.
