Protesters Take Over M25 Motorway Gantries, Causing Chaos
Protesters have mockingly defied police and stormed motorway gantries at multiple spots on the M25 this morning (7 November). They’ve climbed gantries at junction 6, between junctions 8-9, 13-12 southbound, and 13-14, causing major disruption.
Police Struggle to Control Protester on Gantry
Officers are currently dealing with one protester perched dangerously on the gantry between junctions 6 and 7 northbound. A specialist protester removal team is on-site, preparing to scale the structure and bring the individual down safely.
Major Delays and Road Closure Hit Commuters
Long delays are reported across the affected areas. For everyone’s safety, National Highways has shut the M25 northbound from junction 6 to junction 7. Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible.
