Serious M3 Crash: Woman Airlifted, Lorry Driver in Police Custody
Police are hunting for witnesses after a nasty crash on the M3 northbound between junctions 3 and 2. The smash happened around 1:15pm on 6 June.
Woman Airlifted with Serious Injuries
A woman passenger in the car was airlifted to hospital with potentially serious injuries. The male driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The lorry driver involved is cooperating with officers.
Major Delays as Three Lanes Shut
Emergency services have shut three lanes from junction 3 northbound to deal with the crash. Police say they are working hard to reopen the road but expect ongoing delays.
