Tragic Crash: Missing Light Aircraft Found in Ashford Field
Kent Police rushed to a field in Tar Pot Lane, Ashford, just before 10am on Friday, 10 September 2021. They were responding to reports of a missing light aircraft.
Emergency services discovered the plane crashed, and sadly, one man was pronounced dead at the scene by SECAMB paramedics.
Investigation Underway
Officers have launched an initial inquiry to determine how the crash happened. They are working closely with the Air Accidents Investigation Branch to get to the bottom of the tragedy.
