Woman Smashed Over the Head With Bottle
A desperate manhunt is underway on the Isle of Wight following a sickening assault on 20-year-old Yavana Dix last Friday. The victim was left covered in blood after thug Jamie Simpson allegedly smashed a bottle across her skull, causing a serious head injury.
Yavana Fights for Recovery
Shocking photos of Yavana, bloodied and injured, have been spreading on social media. The brutal attack nearly caved in her skull. She was rushed to St Mary’s Hospital and required multiple stitches to save her.
Police Plead for Information
The incident happened in the early hours of Friday, 20 December, on Lake Hill, between Sandown and Shanklin.
Simpson remains wanted by police for questioning. No arrests have been made yet.
“Enquiries are ongoing and we would ask anyone with information to contact police on 101, quoting 44190456012,” said a Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson.
