Man left with a fractured skull after attack in Guildford

A man is in hospital with a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain after he was assaulted at a Guildford nightclub in the early hours last Sunday (23 June). The man was out with friends at the Casino nightclub in Onslow Street when he was approached and punched, causing him to lose consciousness. The incident took place around 1.30am. The victim was taken to hospital where he remained for several days before reporting the attack. Detective Constable Pete Coe, who is investigating the incident, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or may be able to assist in identifying the people involved in this incident. The attack took place in the middle of a busy night club, so somebody must have seen what happened.
