Man Critical After Traffic Cone Attack in Barking

Chaos erupted on Station Approach, Barking, around 8.30pm on Saturday, 4 September, when a man in his 30s was struck by the base of a traffic cone during a disturbance.

Shocking Assault Leaves Victim Seriously Injured

The flying traffic cone hit the man, causing him to fall and suffer a serious head injury. Officers at the scene quickly gave first aid before rushing him to hospital. His condition is now critical.

Police Hunt Cone Thrower

Detectives from East Area CID have launched a full investigation. They are determined to track down the suspect who threw the cone and anyone else involved in the incident.
