Man in Critical Condition After Horrific Hit-and-Run on Southampton Crossing
A 29-year-old man remains in a life-threatening state after being struck by a black BMW 535 on a Southampton street. The shocking incident happened at around 4.15pm on Friday, December 2.
Serious Collision on The Avenue
The pedestrian was hit near The Avenue’s junction with Rockstone Place. Emergency services rushed him to Southampton General Hospital, where he is still fighting for his life.
Police Issue Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
Officers want anyone who saw the crash or events leading up to it to come forward. PC Aaron Smith said:
“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at this time and witnessed the collision between the car and the man. In addition, we would like to know what happened in the short time leading up to the collision.”
