Manhunt Underway After Car Rolls on Isle of Wight – Driver Flees Scene
Armed police are hunting a man who ditched his car after a dramatic crash on the Isle of Wight tonight (Monday).
Green Peugeot 106 Crashes, Driver Makes Off
The driver of a green Peugeot 106 smashed into a road sign on Winston Avenue, Binsted, before rolling the car. Astonishingly, he fled the scene before officers and emergency crews arrived.
Pedestrian Narrowly Missed, Police Dog Deployed
A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed the driver and a passenger bolted from the wreck just after 9pm, narrowly avoiding hitting a nearby pedestrian.
It’s still unclear if either party was injured in the incident. Police have called in a sniffer dog to track down the fugitives.
