Man Found Dead After Entering Millwall Docks
Police have confirmed a man has died after entering the water at Millwall Docks, East London, on Friday evening. Emergency services were called at 5.54pm following reports of a man seen going into the docks.
Specialist Teams Conduct Extensive Search
Metropolitan Police officers and specialist search teams rushed to the scene and launched a thorough search of the area. Sadly, the man’s body was recovered from the water later that evening.
Death Treated as Unexpected but Not Suspicious
A Met Police spokesperson said the death is currently being treated as unexpected but not suspicious. The man’s next of kin have yet to be informed, and inquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
