Coach Crash Near Minehead Involving School Kids Sparks Emergency Response

South Western Ambulance Service rushed to the scene of a serious road traffic collision involving a coach this afternoon near Minehead. The coach was carrying school children returning from Exmouth Zoo when the crash happened.

Accident on A396 Between Wheddon Cross and Dunster

The smash occurred on the A396, caught between Wheddon Cross and Dunster, triggering a large-scale multi-agency response. Ambulance crews and other emergency services were quick to arrive.

“Along with other emergency services, we’re attending a road traffic incident,” confirmed a South Western Ambulance Service spokesperson.

“We cannot comment on any injuries or the cause of the collision at this time,” they added.
