Vandals Smash Hastings Bus Windows in Shocking Spate

Hastings police want YOU to help crack a series of brazen attacks on local buses.

Stone-Throwing Vandals in Action

Since January 11th, bus windows have been smashed across Hastings. The trouble kicked off when a window on a number 98 bus on Mount Road was hit, probably by a stone.

The next night, January 12th, vandals struck again, smashing a window near a bus stop on Stonehouse Drive at around 7:20pm.

Window Shattered in Morning Attack

The worst incident came on January 16th at about 6:30pm. An object was hurled at a number 20 bus on Harold Road, shattering the window.

Thankfully, no one was hurt during these reckless acts.

Police are hot on the trail, reviewing CCTV footage and appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information should speak up online or call 101, quoting reference 1133 of 16/01.
