Major Blaze Hits Valentina’s Coffee Shop in East Sheen

Firefighters raced to Valentina’s coffee shop on Upper Richmond Road after a fierce blaze erupted late Sunday night. The alarm was raised just after 11:20pm on 9th March 2025 when smoke and flames were spotted pouring from the popular local café.

Multiple Fire Engines Battle Intense Flames

Fire crews from across Southwest London swarmed the scene with breathing apparatus, tackling the fire head-on. Witnesses described dramatic flames and thick smoke billowing into the street, forcing parts of Upper Richmond Road to be cordoned off for safety.

“The smoke was so heavy it filled the whole street,” said one bystander.

Cause Under Investigation, No Injuries Reported

The London Fire Brigade has launched an investigation to uncover what sparked the fiery inferno. Luckily, no injuries have been reported, though local businesses and residents remain shaken by the late-night chaos. Crews are still working to secure the site and assess structural damage.
