Missing Man Sparks Search in Surrey Woodland
Police Urge Public to Help Find 47-Year-Old Last Seen Near Red Lane
Surrey police are urgently hunting for Jacek Tarkowski, a 47-year-old man who vanished near High Ridge Farm, Oxted. He was last spotted heading home around 2.30pm on July 23 but never arrived.
Worries Grow Over Man Unfamiliar With Area
Officers fear for Jacek’s welfare, as he isn’t thought to be familiar with the local woodland where he might have wandered. Inspector Joe Easterbrook said:
“We’ve had officers searching all day but now need the public’s help to piece together his movements. We believe he could be in the woods around Red Lane. This is a popular spot for walkers and dog walkers, so anyone who’s been there in the last 24 hours is urged to come forward.”
