Officers Are Looking For Witnesses After An Aggravated Burglary In Seasalter, Near Whitstable

Kent Police were called at 9.45 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022, after a report that two men had broken into a house on Lucerne Drive.

Two people were assaulted on the property before the perpetrators fled. Nothing appears to have been stolen, and no serious injuries have been reported.

Officers responded and arrested a 35-year-old man and a 27-year-old man from the Canterbury area on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Detectives believe a small gold or yellow car, possibly a Volkswagen Fox, is involved in the crime.
