One Dead, Two Stabbed in Chislehurst Pub Brawl
A deadly night unfolded in Chislehurst on Friday, 24 July, after a violent pub fight ended with one man dead and two others rushed to hospital with stab wounds.
Pub Fight Sparks Violent Stabbing
Police were called to Belmont Road at 8.52pm following reports of a brawl involving several men. Officers and the London Ambulance Service found two men suffering stab injuries. Both were taken to hospital and are in a stable condition, with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run
Just two minutes later, at 8.54pm, emergency services responded to a hit-and-run near Slades Drive. A man believed to be in his thirties was struck by a van and died at the scene.
The driver fled, leaving the van abandoned nearby. Police have launched a search for the culprit.
Incidents Treated as Linked, Investigation Underway
Authorities believe the stabbing and the hit-and-run are connected. Extensive road closures and cordons are still in place as enquiries continue.
So far, no arrests have been made.
