Paraguayan Heroine Wins Coveted Diana Award
Maureen Montanía, 26, from Paraguay, has scooped The Diana Award for her extraordinary work creating positive change in her community. This is the highest honour a young person can achieve for social action or humanitarian efforts.

The Diana Award, set up in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, is backed by her sons, The Duke of cambridge/" title="Cambridge" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex. It celebrates young changemakers worldwide who go above and beyond to improve lives.
Championing Gifted Youth in Paraguay
Maureen grew up in a society marked by inequality, where talented youngsters were often overlooked. She’s tackling this head-on with her ‘Aikumby Laboratory’ project, fighting for the rights of gifted kids and teens in Paraguay.
Her work has already helped over 20 families and institutions through talent workshops for parents and young people. She’s trained professionals to detect and support giftedness, transforming lives with assessment and educational guidance.
