Massive Fire Breaks Out at Hayes Waste Recycling Factory

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) rushed to a huge blaze at a factory on Rigby Lane, Hayes, late Monday night.

400 Tonnes of Waste Recycling Go Up in Flames

The LFB confirmed a factory storing around 400 tonnes of waste recycling was engulfed in flames. The exact site of the fire is still being pinpointed by firefighters.

Hundreds of Firefighters Battle the Inferno

Fifteen fire engines and over 100 firefighters from stations including Hillingdon, Heathrow, Feltham, Hayes, and Heston were deployed. Two aerial ladders and a high-volume pump are providing vital support.

Dangerous Gas Cylinders Removed as Precaution

Approximately ten gas cylinders have been removed because some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat,” LFB said. Crews were called at 11.41 pm on Monday evening.

The cause of the fiery disaster remains unknown as emergency teams continue their work at the scene.
