Car and Caravan Flip on A27 Chaos
A car towing a caravan dramatically flipped onto its side this morning, blocking two lanes of the A27/M27 westbound just after 7am. The crash happened right at the start of the slip road leading onto Hilsea roundabout, causing a serious bottleneck for rush-hour traffic.
Emergency Crews Clear the Scene Fast
Police teamed up with Highways England to clear the wreckage. By 8.30am, both the car and caravan were recovered, and lanes reopened to ease the jam.
Family Miraculously Unhurt
Thankfully, the two adults and two children inside escaped without injury. A lucky break amid the chaos on one of the region’s busiest routes.
