Drama at Colwell Bay as Woman Dragged Lifeless from Sea

Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service were scrambled to Colwell Bay beach after a woman was pulled from the sea, unresponsive and lifeless. The chilling scene unfolded just after 6.15pm on Monday evening.

Good Samaritan Jumps In

A quick-thinking member of the public spotted the woman in the water and waded in to drag her out. Clad in a wetsuit and soaked through, she was given immediate CPR by the bystander before paramedics arrived on the scene.

Rush to Hospital

Emergency crews continued resuscitation efforts before rushing the woman to St Mary’s Hospital for urgent treatment. Her condition remains unknown as medical teams fight to save her life.
