Tragic Pedestrian Death on M4 Sparks Police Appeal
Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal smash on the M4 early this morning.
Man in His 40s Killed in Horror Crash
The tragedy unfolded just after midnight, around 12.30am on September 9, on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 10 and 11.
A man in his forties, on foot, was struck by a heavy goods vehicle. He died instantly at the scene.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.
Police Urge Dash-Cam Drivers to Help
“I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward,” said PC James Baker of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit.
“If you were driving on the M4 in either direction, please check your dash-cam footage. It might hold crucial evidence.”
