Tragedy at Birmingham’s University Railway Station
A person has died after a heart-wrenching incident at University Railway Station in Birmingham on Saturday, November 16.
Fatal Incident on the Tracks
British Transport Police were called just before 2:50pm after reports of a casualty on the railway tracks. Emergency crews rushed to the scene but sadly, the individual was pronounced dead at the location.
Officers were called to a report of a casualty on the tracks just before 2.50pm on Saturday (16 November) near University Railway Station in Birmingham.” “Officers and paramedics attended, and sadly a person was pronounced deceased. The incident is not thought to be suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Rail Services Disrupted
Train services around the station were temporarily halted while emergency responders dealt with the situation. Services later returned to normal after the scene was cleared.
