Police Hunt Hit-and-Run Driver After Crash Near Winchester
Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a hit-and-run collision on the A31 near Winchester.
White Honda Jazz Collides with 4×4
The crash happened around 12:15pm on Saturday, April 9, on the eastbound side of the A31 in Ovington. A white Honda Jazz, driven by a 76-year-old woman, was involved in a collision with a white 4×4 vehicle.
The elderly driver suffered minor injuries, but the 4×4 sped off, failing to stop at the scene.
Police Plea for Witnesses and Driver to Come Forward
“We are appealing for any witnesses who saw the incident or either cars prior to the collision to get in touch with us,” said PC Paul White.
“We are also appealing directly to the driver of the 4×4 vehicle to come forward and help us with our investigation.”
