Shock Unprovoked Attacks in Maidstone

Kent Police are hunting a gang of men who launched a series of unprovoked assaults in Maidstone town centre in the early hours of 8 December 2024.

At around 2:25am on Week Street, four people were attacked without warning. One man suffered serious facial injuries and needed hospital treatment. Two women were also targeted — one was shoved against a wall while her bag and phone were thrown to the floor.

Police Release CCTV Images in Hunt for Suspects

Officers have recovered CCTV footage showing four men believed to be involved. Detective Constable Emma Fitzgerald said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack on multiple victims in a busy part of Maidstone town centre. We are keen to speak to the men in the CCTV images, as they may have valuable information that could assist with our investigation.”

Kent Police are urging people who recognise the men or have any information to come forward immediately.
