Hit-and-Run Shocker in Leigh Park Leaves Two Children Hurt

Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after two children were injured in Leigh Park on Tuesday, September 17.

Collision Details

The crash happened just after 5pm on Dunsbury Way, between High Lawn Way and Fulflood Road junctions. A 4×4, believed to be a Land Rover Discovery or similar with blacked-out windows, struck two children – one under ten and a teenager.

Both victims suffered minor injuries, police confirmed.

Driver Flees Scene

Witnesses say the driver briefly got out but then sped off without exchanging details. The suspect was wearing black shorts, a black top, and a cap.

Authorities want to hear from anyone who saw the incident or a vehicle matching this description. They’re especially eager for dash cam, mobile phone, doorbell camera, or CCTV footage that might have caught the hit-and-run.
