Young Man Found Seriously Injured on M1 Slip Road

Police were called to the M1 northbound exit slip road at Junction 25 at 4.40am this Friday morning after reports of a man lying in the road.

The victim, in his 20s, slim, and dressed in dark clothing, suffered serious head injuries. He was rushed to the Queen’s Medical Centre where he remains in critical condition.

Officers Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detective Constable Emma Temple from Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit appealed for help. She said:

“This stretch of motorway is busy even early in the morning. If you were driving in the area and saw anything unusual, please get in touch.”

“Did you see anyone walking on the slip road or motorway? Your information could be vital.”

“We’re also looking for dash-cam footage from any drivers who were around at the time.”

Slip Road Reopened – Police Continue Investigation

The slip road has now reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
