Hit-and-Run Horror: Boy Injured by Ocado Van in Broad Daylight
A shocking hit-and-run unfolded on Saturday, 10 April at around 2.20pm on Manchester Road. A 12-year-old boy on a scooter was struck by a purple Ocado van.
Boy Taken to Hospital with Leg Injuries
The youngster suffered serious leg injuries and was rushed to hospital as a precaution. He spent the night under observation.
Driver Flees Scene – Police Hunt Van and Motorist
In a blatant act of cowardice, the driver failed to stop. Police are urgently working to identify the van and driver involved.
Witnesses Called to Come Forward
Eyewitnesses describe the culprit as a white male, aged 40 to 50, with short dark or grey hair.
