Police are appealing for information following a shooting in Edgware earlier this year

Police are appealing for information following a shooting in Edgware earlier this year. Police were called at approximately 9.45pm on Monday, 3 February to reports of gunshots outside shops on North Parade at Mollison Way. Officers attended and established that a firearm had been discharged towards two men who were standing close to a convenience store. There were no reported injuries. Trident detectives from Specialist Crime launched an investigation, and despite extensive enquiries, at this time, no arrests have been made. The motive for the shooting also remains unclear. They would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who is yet to come forward and speak with officers. The suspect was described as white, aged in his 20s, and wearing a white or light grey tracksuit. He approached the men on foot. Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 quoting reference Cad 8032/3Feb or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
