Whippingham Road Shut After Collision
Police rushed to the scene just after 1.10pm today following reports of a crash on Whippingham Road. The road is now closed from the Racecourse roundabout all the way to the Folly Inn junction.

The closure looks set to last for some time, causing heavy congestion. Drivers are urged to steer clear if they can. Diversions are in place for vehicles heading to East Cowes, but beware: large lorries cannot use these narrow back roads.
